The 2025–2026 Biathlon World Cup schedule: stages, events and dates

The Biathlon World Cup 2025–2026 begins on 29 November 2025 in Östersund, Sweden and finishes on 22 March 2026 in Oslo (Holmenkollen). The season comprises 9 stages and 58 events; it pauses in February for the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Broadcast rights: live and free on the L'Équipe channel and also on Eurosport.

Season context

  • Among the women France relies on Lou Jeanmonnot and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet. Jeanmonnot finished second in the overall standings the previous season behind Franziska Preuss. Julia Simon is suspended for one month after a conviction for theft and card fraud and will miss the season opener in Östersund but may return from the second stage in Hochfilzen (12–14 December) and compete at the Olympic Games.
  • On the men’s side Sturla Holm Lægreid — winner of the big crystal globe in 2024–2025 — is the man to beat. Although Johannes and Tarjei Bø have retired, Norway remains the favourite nation. France will look to Éric Perrot (third in last season’s overall standings), Quentin Fillon Maillet and teammates to challenge.
