Johanna Skottheim is back in the national biathlon team for the upcoming season after a challenging few years. She described feeling much better both mentally and physically, noting that she enjoyed having her own training plan last season, which helped her reconnect with her passion for the sport. The Swedish Biathlon Team for the 2025/2026 season was released on Monday, highlighting her return along with several others, while Emil Nykvist is not included as he decided to prioritize time with his family. Skottheim expressed her excitement about being part of a team again and looks forward to continued growth in her biathlon career, given her recent successful performances, including a fifth place finish at Ruhpolding.
