Vittozzi triumphs: Lisa wins the Loop One Festival in Munich

Italy’s Lisa Vittozzi returned to the top step with a commanding victory at the Loop One Festival in Munich.
Coming off her summer success at Norway’s Blinkfestivalen in August, Vittozzi again imposed herself in a high-profile exhibition that featured several World Cup regulars. She dominated her qualifying heat with perfect shooting, then won the 15-athlete final from the front, managing two standing-range penalties without yielding the lead. The Sappada native, whose last World Cup start came in March 2024, finished ahead of Sweden’s Johanna Skottheim and Anna Magnusson. The other Italian in the field, Michela Carrara, was knocked out in the heats.
On the men’s side, France’s Éric Perrot claimed victory.
