Tour de Ski — stage 3 report
Moa Ilar took third place in the third stage of the Tour de Ski but was critical of the new heat-based format used in the race. Ilar said she didn’t like the setup and hoped “it was the first and last time” the format is used, arguing that results become dependent on which heat a skier ends up in.
Emma Ribom, who finished second, was more positive about the format. She said she enjoyed racing in her heat and that it was important to be in a heat where cooperation was possible. Despite their different views on the format, both Ilar and Ribom were pleased with their individual performances.
The article is a short report from Radiosporten and includes reactions from the Swedish skiers after stage three of the Tour de Ski.
