Sweden’s women extended their impressive form with a double podium in the 10 km World Cup race in Trondheim. Ebba Andersson secured her first World Cup victory of the winter, with compatriot Moa Ilar finishing second.
“It feels great that we’re doing so well both individually and as a team. It becomes a positive boost for the whole group,” Andersson told Radiosporten after the race.
Radiosporten expert Hanna Falk added that this is a moment to appreciate the scale of Sweden’s recent women’s cross‑country achievements, given the consistent podiums and victories early in the season.
The performance underscores Sweden’s depth heading into the winter, with team morale clearly buoyed by the Trondheim result.
