Swedish skier Ebba Andersson claimed victory in the women’s 10 km individual freestyle in Trondheim, Norway. Coming off a strong third-place finish in the previous day’s 20 km skiathlon, Andersson separated herself in the individual start format and won by two seconds over her compatriot Moa Ilar.
Reigning overall World Cup champion Jessie Diggins (USA) completed the podium, 16.5 seconds behind Andersson. Frida Karlsson, who won the classic individual in Ruka the previous week, finished eighth at 32.7 seconds.
On the French side, Léna Quintin was the only starter after Delphine Claudel withdrew earlier in the weekend; Quintin, primarily a sprint specialist, placed 59th at 2:29.3.
