The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has announced that three Russian and six Belarusian athletes have been cleared to compete in World Cup events under a neutral flag.
Among those approved are two cross‑country skiers: Russia’s Savely Korostelev, a standout junior who won individual gold and silver at the 2022 Junior World Championships, and Daria Nepryayeva, the younger sister of former star Natalia Nepryayeva.
FIS also listed several athletes from other FIS disciplines:
- Anastasia Tatalina (Russia), freeskiing, 2021 world champion in big air
- Marija Shkanova (Belarus), alpine skiing
- Anna Derugo (Belarus), freeskiing
- Hanna Huskova (Belarus), freestyle (aerials)
- Anastasia Andryyanava (Belarus), freestyle
- Ihar Drabiankou (Belarus), freestyle
- Uladzislau Vazniuk (Belarus), freestyle
These athletes will compete without national symbols, in line with FIS rules for neutral participation. The move does not lift broader restrictions on Russian and Belarusian teams but permits individually approved athletes to start in World Cup competitions under neutrality provisions.
