Norway’s Helene Marie Fossesholm, once regarded as one of the country’s biggest cross‑country skiing talents, is ending her career at just 24 years old.
Fossesholm revealed her decision on Instagram, explaining that the motivation to continue at the highest level is no longer there. The Norwegian has experienced a few turbulent seasons, but she still managed to record four top‑10 finishes last winter at international level.
According to the report, she intends to start a new professional path after Christmas.
