Johannes Høsflot Klæbo is now historic: “This is a big day”
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo celebrated yet another Olympic success on Sunday when Norway won the relay and Klæbo picked up his ninth Olympic gold medal. That ninth gold takes him past Ole‑Einar Bjørndalen, Marit Björgen and Björn Dählie in the all‑time Winter Olympic gold count.
“It is a big day,” Klæbo told Radiosporten after the victory.
The relay triumph for Norway added one more title to Klæbo’s Olympic collection, confirming his status as one of the most successful athletes in Winter Olympic history.
