Ilta-Sanomat reports that Lauri Vuorinen has abandoned the Tour de Ski after three stages. Vuorinen said he did not feel "quite normal" on Wednesday and chose not to risk starting Thursday's 20 km classical pursuit.
In Wednesday's 5 km mass-start heat Vuorinen finished 83rd, 36.7 seconds behind the winner Gus Schumacher. Before withdrawing he was 34th in the overall Tour standings, almost two and a half minutes behind the leader Johannes Kläbo.
Fellow Finn Ristomatti Hakola had already withdrawn from the Tour earlier.
