Swedish cross‑country skier Linn Svahn has reflected on a turbulent last season, when a crash just before the Trondheim 2025 World Championships left her with a concussion and out of the championships. The incident brought her season to a premature and frustrating end.
In an interview with P4 Jämtland, the 25‑year‑old says she is now fully recovered. Returning to daily training has felt both humbling and motivating, and she describes having “a lot of respect” for the process of building back up after head trauma.
With an Olympic winter approaching, Svahn admits to mixed emotions—excitement to compete again at the highest level, but also a renewed appreciation for health and careful preparation. After her enforced break, she emphasizes that being able to do everything again is something she does not take for granted.
