Norway continued its sprint dominance as Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and Erik Valnes won the men’s team sprint at the Davos (Switzerland) World Cup stage. Always near the front, Valnes set up Klæbo for the final lap, where Klæbo accelerated away to clinch another comfortable victory.

Italy’s pairing of Elia Barp and Federico Pellegrino took second, while Sweden’s Johan Häggström and Edvin Anger secured third.

France had a frustrating day. Richard Jouve and Jules Chappaz comfortably made the final and were in contention until Chappaz crashed in the last corner of lap eight, dropping the duo to 14th at the finish. The second French team, Victor Lovera and Rémi Bourdin, placed 20th in qualifying and missed the cut.

In the women’s race held minutes earlier, Sweden’s Jonna Sundling and Maja (Maria) Dahlqvist were untouchable, winning by more than three seconds. Norway filled the remaining podium spots: Mathilde Myhrvold/Astrid Øyre Slind finished second ahead of Kristine Stavaas Skistad/Kristin Austgulen Fosnæs. The French pairs—Julie Pierrel/Léonie Perry and Mélissa Gal/Justine Gaillard—qualified for the final but finished 11th and 13th respectively.
