
Rome to host the third stage of the Rollerski World Cup

The Eternal City will welcome the international Skiroll (rollerski) World Cup on September 16–17, 2025, offering a blend of elite sport, history, and culture.
For the first time, Rome will host a stage of the FIS Rollerski World Cup, with athletes racing against the backdrop of iconic landmarks. The stop coincides with the Jubilee Year and arrives just months before the Milano–Cortina Olympic Winter Games, adding extra significance for participants and spectators.
The Rome stage follows earlier World Cup rounds in Madona (LAT) and Trollhättan (SWE) and serves as the final stop before the season finale in Val di Fiemme.
Competition program in Rome: - Tuesday, September 16 – Sprint TL 150 m • Venue: Via della Domus Aurea, with the Colosseum as a backdrop. • Format: Single starting round; top 16 advance to knockout rounds.
- Wednesday, September 17 – Mass Start TL 10 km • Venue: Terme di Caracalla on a 1.2 km loop. • A public village area will host fans and frame the event.
Val di Fiemme – World Cup Finals (September 19–21, 2025): - Friday, September 19 – Sprint F - Saturday, September 20 – Team Sprint F - Sunday, September 21 – 15/10 km Mass Start F
The Rome and Fiemme events will feature the world’s top rollerski athletes across men’s and women’s senior and junior categories, with 18 nations represented.
