Tour de Ski continued with a 10-kilometre classical stage in Toblach, and several Swedish men had a heavy day in the snow as they chase remaining Olympic quota places for Milano–Cortina 2026.

Eric Rosjö said to SVT Sport that he felt he’d trained too little and that the race was “bitter” because it comes at the most important moment of the season. Rosjö was the sixth-best Swede and finished 55th overall, about 1 minute 30 seconds behind winner Mattis Stenhagen. "You feel early on that you don’t have the power, and that’s mentally tough," he said.

Truls Gisselman, the second-best Swedish finisher, also described his race as heavy and disappointing. The Tour de Ski races are especially important this season because they’re among the final events before national Olympic spots are allocated — Sweden still has four men’s Olympic quota places to fill.

SVT Sport noted that the Swedish skiers who already hold Olympic spots include Edvin Anger, William Poromaa, Alvar Myhlbäck and Anton Grahn. The article includes short interview clips with Rosjö and Gisselman where they reflect on their performances and the implications for the Olympic selection fight.
