Sweden has announced its roster for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup season opener in Ruka this weekend.
Nineteen-year-old Alvar Myhlback earns a call-up following impressive performances at the Swedish season opener. In contrast, William Poromaa is absent due to cold symptoms, and veterans Calle Halfvarsson and Jens Burman are left out after a weak pre-season. On the women’s side, Sweden travels with all its leading names except Linn Svahn, who is missing because of illness.
