Expert’s demand: Sweden must fix waxing issues to challenge Norway in Trondheim

Radiosporten expert Hanna Falk reacted to the Swedish team’s performance in Saturday’s skiathlon in Trondheim, noting that issues in the waxing truck need to be addressed before Sunday’s 10 km freestyle.
“They must fix the problems we saw yesterday, otherwise it won’t be possible to beat Norway on home ground,” Falk said.
Sunday’s live coverage on P4 begins with the women’s 10 km freestyle at 09:45, followed by the men’s race at 12:03.
The discussion comes amid Norway’s strong form and the high demands of the World Cup weekend in Trondheim, where equipment choices and waxing have a major impact on performance.
