Swedes far behind again: “It’s not good enough”

It was another difficult day for Sweden’s men in cross-country skiing.
In the World Cup 10 km freestyle in Trondheim, Norway locked out the podium and filled the top seven positions. Einar Hedegart, who also competes in biathlon and won Norway’s mass start national title in March, took his first-ever World Cup victory in cross-country skiing.
Gustaf Berglund was Sweden’s best finisher in 29th place. Radiosporten expert Hanna Falk called the performance worrying, especially with the Olympic relay on the horizon, and said the level was “not good enough.”
The race concluded the World Cup weekend in Trondheim.
