Marking 20 Years: Tour de Ski Presents Its Anniversary Logo
Originally published in FIS on August 22, 2025
FIS announced a special 20th anniversary logo for the Tour de Ski, created through an open design competition and won by the design group 7Overlay. The new emblem is intended to express the endurance of cross-country skiing, the dramatic climbs and descents through the mountains, and the iconic final ascent on Alpe Cermis.
The logo will be used throughout the 2025/26 season and during the 20th Tour de Ski edition, which starts on December 28. This year’s Tour opens in Toblach (Italy) with a Sprint, followed by a 10 km interval start. The Tour’s new "Heat Mass Start" format will also debut, with FIS directing readers to an Instagram post for a full explanation. A link to the Tour de Ski calendar and other season documents is provided.
FIS thanked all participants who submitted designs and congratulated 7Overlay on producing the winning concept that will represent the landmark season.
