The final weekend of the Summer Grand Prix served as the last tune‑up before the Olympic winter season. In Klingenthal, 18‑year‑old Kacper Tomasiak replaced Maciej Kot in Poland’s lineup and immediately impressed, continuing the form that brought him the overall title in the Summer Continental Cup and an extra World Cup quota spot for Poland for period 1 of the winter season starting 21 November in Lillehammer.

Tomasiak led the Polish contingent on Saturday. Jumping first among the Poles, the LKS Klimczok Bystra athlete flew 132 m to sit sixth after the first round, ultimately finishing eighth after a 126 m second attempt.

Kamil Stoch, making his final appearance at the Summer Grand Prix ahead of retiring after the 2025/26 season, opened well with 130.5 m for seventh at halfway. In tougher second‑round conditions he managed 116.5 m and finished 20th, closing an important chapter of his career in the summer series.

Among the other Poles: Dawid Kubacki was 13th after a 120.5 m first jump and ended 19th with 124 m in round two; Piotr Żyła improved in the final, following 126 m with 130 m to take 18th. Paweł Wąsek (116 m, 37th) and Aleksander Zniszczoł (114.5 m, 46th) missed the cut.

Antti Aalto produced one of the day’s longest efforts at 137.5 m but lost over 20 points for favorable wind. The competition victory went to Ryoyu Kobayashi. Germany’s Philipp Raimund secured the overall Summer Grand Prix 2025 title. A mixed team event was scheduled for Sunday to close the summer season.
