Austria celebrated a home double at the Summer Grand Prix in Hinzenbach as Jan Hörl claimed victory ahead of teammate Daniel Tschofenig.

Hörl secured the win with jumps of 93.0 and 89.5 meters, finishing exactly six points clear of Tschofenig, who was recently named Austria’s “Sportsman of the Year.” Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi completed the podium in third, just 0.2 points further back.

Two more Austrians placed inside the top ten: Stephan Embacher finished fifth and Stefan Kraft eighth, underscoring the team’s depth.

Speaking afterward, Tschofenig said it was a “cool weekend,” noting that while victory eluded him, his form is good. Hörl told ORF he was “mega-happy” with his first Hinzenbach win and felt ready for the World Cup to begin. The ÖSV team now has two training courses planned in Innsbruck and Garmisch-Partenkirchen before the Olympic season starts on November 20 in Lillehammer.
