FIS has announced that from the 2025/26 winter season nearly all Continental Cup (COC) ski jumping competitions will be broadcast live. The move follows a pilot during the Summer Continental Cup in Hinterzarten, where YouTube streams drew strong fan interest.

According to FIS ski jumping spokesperson Horst Nilgen, fans should expect coverage of “all or almost all” COC events this winter. The schedule features 24 competitions on 11 hills, including venues that do not host World Cup events, such as Zhangjiakou (China) and Iron Mountain (USA).

Polish jumper Kacper Tomasiak won the Hinterzarten test event and set a hill record, noting that having a broadcast provides lasting exposure for athletes. Greater visibility is expected to help younger jumpers attract sponsors and gain recognition, addressing a long‑standing problem of the Continental Cup being largely unseen.

The new era of Continental Cup broadcasting is slated to start on 13 December in Ruka and conclude with the finals in Zakopane in March. If the project succeeds, observers believe ski jumping will gain a broader audience and stronger foundations across all levels of competition.
