Austria’s Lisa Eder placed 10th in the second women’s World Cup ski jumping event in Klingenthal, one day after taking third. On the large hill, she was more than 25 points off the podium.

Eder recorded two even jumps of 124 meters. The win went to Slovenia’s Nika Prevc with 135 and 138 meters, ahead of Friday’s winner Nozomi Maruyama of Japan (134 and 135 meters). Austria’s Julia Mühlbacher finished 17th; no other ÖSV athletes started.

Eder remarked that while her takeoff was acceptable, she struggled to generate lift and the right flight feeling: “Out in the air I’m really having a hard time making speed and getting the flight feeling—got to keep at it.”

Looking ahead, the women’s circuit heads to Engelberg, Switzerland next week, followed by the Two-Nights Tour with competitions in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberstdorf over New Year’s. This format is expected to be used for the last time, with a full women’s Four Hills Tournament planned from 2026.
