Anna Twardosz was the only Polish woman to qualify for Sunday’s FIS Ski Jumping World Cup competition in Engelberg (HS140), advancing from qualifying with 105 m (30th). Nicole Konderla‑Juroszek (89.5 m, 49th) and Pola Bełtowska (104 m, 45th) failed to make the cut.
In the first round, Twardosz produced 118 m and sat a solid 19th. Anna Odine Strøm led after flying 132.5 m, one point ahead of Nika Prevc. World Cup overall leader Nozomi Maruyama struggled to 112 m and was only 14th at the break.
After the interval, Twardosz could not hold position, managing just 110 m and slipping to 21st overall. Maruyama rebounded with a 131.5 m effort in round two to finish sixth.
The victory went to Nika Prevc, who delivered a dominant 136 m in the final to win by 16.7 points over Strøm, who dropped to second after 125 m in the second series.
