Men’s Ski Jumping World Cup — Lillehammer Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi won the second men’s Ski Jumping World Cup event of the season in Lillehammer. He jumped 138.0 m on the first round and added 1.5 m on the second. Slovenia’s Domen Prevc was second, and Germany’s Felix Hoffmann third.

Finland’s Antti Aalto produced jumps of 127.5 m and 125.5 m to place 21st. Vilho Palosaari jumped 117.0 m and finished 47th.

Women’s Ski Jumping World Cup — Lillehammer (HS140) Heta Hirvonen climbed from 12th to 10th with a 128.0 m second‑round jump. It was only her third career World Cup start in ski jumping.

Japan’s Nozomi Maruyama dominated for her second win of the weekend, 28.8 points ahead of Norway’s Heidi Dyhre Traaserud, with Slovenia’s Nika Prevc third. Other Finns: Minja Korhonen 26th, Julia Kykkänen 30th; Jenny Rautionaho missed the second round in 35th.

Swedish distance team struggles in Gällivare At an international 10 km freestyle interval start in Gällivare, Sweden, long‑time national team skiers Calle Halfvarsson and Jens Burman finished far behind the winner, 25‑year‑old Johan Ekberg (SWE), who has four World Cup starts in his career. Halfvarsson was 24th (+1:20), Burman 29th (+1:27.5). Both athletes joked about their poor results in interviews with SVT.

Finnish Cup — Ruka 20 km freestyle mass starts Men: Ristomatti Hakola won after attacking on the final climb and winning the sprint. Veeti Pyykkö was second (+0.4), Joni Mäki third (+4.1). Iivo Niskanen placed eighth (+16.0).

Women: Jasmin Kähärä won the women’s race (headline result noted).
