Kacper Tomasiak with another big payout — how much he earned in Innsbruck

Polish ski jumper Kacper Tomasiak added another substantial sum to his account after finishing eighth in the Four Hills Tournament competition in Innsbruck — the best result among the Polish contingent. The report lists exactly how much the Polish jumpers earned for the Innsbruck event.

Tomasiak was once again the strongest of the Poles. He coped very well on the demanding Innsbruck hill: after two very good jumps he finished eighth overall. Besides him, only one other Pole made the second round — Dawid Kubacki, who finished 30th.

Tomasiak and Dawid Kubacki’s earnings

This season Tomasiak is not only the top point scorer for Poland but also the highest earner among the Polish jumpers. Before Innsbruck, the official FIS standings showed he ranked 11th overall in prize money this season.

His income increased after Sunday’s competition. Importantly, this season prize payouts are made in euros rather than Swiss francs. For finishing eighth in Innsbruck (the same place he took in Garmisch-Partenkirchen), Tomasiak received €4,000 — roughly PLN 17,000 at current exchange rates.

Dawid Kubacki slightly boosted his season total as well: for 30th place he earned €500, a bit over PLN 2,000.
