Polish ski jumper Kacper Tomasiak continued his breakout summer with a second Continental Cup victory of the season, triumphing in Hinterzarten. In the first round he flew 114.5 m, a new hill record, and followed it with 105.5 m in round two to secure the win.

He finished ahead of Germany’s Jonas Schuster in second and Switzerland’s Gregor Deschwanden in third, a familiar name from the World Cup. Another notable result came from Austria’s Niklas Bachlinger, the current Summer Grand Prix leader, who placed fourth.

Tomasiak’s recent form includes two early FIS Cup podiums and a win in the Summer Continental Cup in Stams, where he missed a second podium due to a disqualification the day before. In Hinterzarten, Poland also saw Klemens Joniak take 10th, with Adam Niżnik 25th, Jakub Wolny 26th, and Tomasz Pilch 29th.

Tomasiak leads the overall Summer Continental Cup standings. The final competitions of the series are scheduled for 18–19 October and will be decisive not only for the overall rankings but also for allocating extra national quota places for the first World Cup period, which runs through Engelberg.
