Official: Poland's pair line-up confirmed — Maciej Maciusiak made the decision

Coach Maciej Maciusiak has made the final decision about Poland's line-up for Monday's pairs competition. It has been confirmed that Kacper Tomasiak's partner will be Paweł Wąsek.
For Tomasiak the place in the team was a formality — the 19-year-old has been the revelation of the Games. On Saturday he surprised the world by winning bronze on the large hill after earlier taking silver on the normal hill. His partner will be Paweł Wąsek, who in Predazzo has produced steadier jumps than the more decorated veteran. As a result Kamil Stoch — the three-time Olympic champion — will not get a farewell moment in these Games.
Poland skipped the official practice on the Predazzo hill on Sunday morning. The team withdrew from the session as Maciusiak had earlier signalled this move — he wanted to give the jumpers time to regenerate and reset after the emotional individual competition.
The pairs event is the last chance to add to Poland's medals in ski jumping. Based on the individual results, the Poles would rank fourth in the pairs standings, but the duet contest features three rounds instead of two, which can change the outcome.
The pair competition is scheduled for Monday: trial round at 18:00 and the medal round at 19:00. Will Kacper Tomasiak and Paweł Wąsek produce another surprise? Live coverage will be available on Onet's main page and on Przegladsportowy.onet.pl.
