Slovenia’s Domen Prevc continued his hot start to the season by winning the World Cup event in Klingenthal, stretching his overall lead after jumps of 142.5 m and 143 m. Austria’s Stefan Kraft, returning to competition after the birth of his first child, finished second with 132.5 m and 133.5 m. Germany’s Philipp Raimund rounded out the podium in third.

Kraft said he was thrilled to be immediately back on the podium and thanked his family for enabling his quick return. He described the foggy, low‑visibility conditions as “strange,” noting he launched “into white,” and joked he only heard the coach’s whistle before taking off.

For Austria, Jan Hörl slipped from third after the first round to sixth. Jonas Schuster placed 11th, overall champion Daniel Tschofenig was 13th, and Stephan Embacher (19th) and Manuel Fettner (23rd) also scored points.

The women also competed in Klingenthal, where Domen’s sister Nika Prevc took the win ahead of Friday’s winner Nozomi Maruyama (Japan). Austria’s Lisa Eder, third the day before on the large hill, finished 10th this time, with Julia Mühlbacher 17th. The piece adds that next week brings a women’s stop in Engelberg, and that the Two‑Nights Tour (Garmisch‑Partenkirchen and Oberstdorf) will be held for the last time in its current form before a Women’s Four Hills Tournament launches from 2026.
