ÖSV eagle in seventh heaven: Stefan Kraft becomes a father for the first time

Austrian ski jumping star Stefan Kraft has become a father for the first time. The 32‑year‑old and his wife Marisa announced the birth of their baby girl on Instagram, writing, “Welcome to Earth, our little princess.”
Kraft had missed the recent Ski Jumping World Cup events in Ruka (Finland) and Wisła (Poland) to support his then heavily pregnant wife. The World Cup season continues in Klingenthal, Germany, this coming weekend, but it is not yet clear whether Kraft will take part.
The news was greeted with congratulations across the Austrian ski community, as the ÖSV “eagle” enjoys a short pause from competition for family life.
