Ski jumping star Stefan Kraft returns to the World Cup – who he will replace is revealed

Austria’s Stefan Kraft announced the birth of his daughter, explaining his brief absence from the World Cup. Having missed the weekends in Wisła and Ruka, he will return to competition at the next stop in Klingenthal.

Austria has confirmed its lineup for Klingenthal: Stefan Kraft, Daniel Tschofenig, Jan Hörl, Manuel Fettner, Stephan Embacher and Jonas Schuster. Compared with the previous appearance at Vogtland Arena, Maximilian Ortner is left out following a weak opening to his season.

Even after skipping three individual competitions in total, Kraft remains high in the overall World Cup standings, currently holding eighth place.
