Anna Twardosz was the lone Polish athlete to advance from Sunday’s qualification for the Women’s Ski Jumping World Cup in Engelberg (HS140), recording 105 m. The result came a day after she placed 21st in the individual event, where she jumped 122.5 m in the first round (16th) and 114 m in the second to finish 21st overall.
Her teammates struggled. Nicole Konderla‑Juroszek managed only 89.5 m in qualifying and finished 49th. Pola Bełtowska reached 104 m for 45th, also missing the cut. As a result, Twardosz was the only Polish woman to secure a start spot for Sunday’s World Cup competition.
Slovenia’s Nika Prevc topped qualification and was the only jumper over 130 m, flying 131.5 m. The competition was scheduled to start at 11:30. On Saturday, Japan’s Nozomi Maruyama won the World Cup event ahead of Nika Prevc and Norway’s Anna Odine Strøm.
