The next World Cup ski jumping competition — the final event of the 74th Four Hills Tournament — will take place in Bischofshofen on 6 January. The world's best jumpers will compete on the Paul Ausserleitner-Schanze, and Poland will be represented by Kacper Tomasiak, Kamil Stoch, Paweł Wąsek, Maciej Kot and Dawid Kubacki.
After the contest in Innsbruck there will be very little downtime. On Monday, 5 January, athletes will have official training and the qualification round at the Bergisel venue in Innsbruck: training is scheduled for 14:00 and qualification for 16:30. On Tuesday, 6 January, the decisive rounds in the Four Hills Tournament will take place in Bischofshofen: the trial round starts at 15:00 and the first competition round (KO system) at 16:30.
Poland's youngest competitor Kacper Tomasiak (18) has reason to be pleased after finishing 8th in Innsbruck; he is currently the leading Pole this season. Slovenian Domen Prevc is almost certain to win the Four Hills Tournament overall — although he lost in Innsbruck to Ren Nikaido, his lead is huge and only a catastrophe could cost him the title.
Fans can watch the Bischofshofen event on TVN and Eurosport, and on the HBO Max platform. Onet.pl and Przegląd Sportowy Onet will also provide live coverage and updates.
