Only four weeks remain until the Ski Jumping World Cup begins, but before that the Summer Grand Prix will conclude in Klingenthal on an unusually late date.

According to forecasts, the Vogtland Arena competitions may once again be affected by strong winds, with gusts expected around 6–8 m/s throughout the weekend. Organizers face a challenging outlook for running the events smoothly.

Poland’s team includes: Anna Twardosz, Pola Bełtowska, Nicole Konderla-Juroszek, Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki, Piotr Żyła, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Paweł Wąsek, and 18-year-old Kacper Tomasiak, who will make his debut at this level after an excellent summer, capped by winning the Summer Continental Cup overall last week in Klingenthal. Coach Wojciech Topór tempered expectations, saying Tomasiak’s start is a reward and any points would be a bonus.

Event schedule (local time):

  • Friday, 24 Oct 2025: 12:00 technical meeting; 13:30 women’s official training; 15:15 women’s qualification; 17:00 men’s official training; 19:00 men’s qualification.
  • Saturday, 25 Oct 2025: 12:20 women’s individual competition; 16:05 men’s individual competition.
  • Sunday, 26 Oct 2025: 14:45 mixed team competition.

With strong winds expected each day, athletes and organizers may face another lottery-like weekend in Klingenthal.
